Policies

Check-In & Check-Out

Regular check-in hours are 3:00 - 6:00 PM. Please call (719-344-5931) to notify us if you will be arriving later than 6:00 PM, to ensure access,

Check-out is no later than 11:00 AM.

Parking

Guest parking is available in the upper driveway (second driveway on the right)

Please do not block left garage door or other guests.  Please park in front of designated sign for your suite.

Restrictions

No candles allowed. Owners reserve the right to ask guests to leave without refunds, if found using candles.  

All rooms and indoor areas are SMOKE FREE. Smoking will only be allowed in some outdoor areas (ask Inn Keepers for authorized areas). Discarding used smoking materials is the responsibility of guests.  Please be considerate of wind direction for the comfort of other guests.

No pets allowed in suites.

Use of Common Areas

When occupying common areas (Great Room, Colorado Room, Ute Pass Deck, Mount Ester Patio, and Hot Tub), please be considerate of other guests.  

Keurig in the Colorado Room, is for the use of all guests.  Please ask Inn Keepers for instructions if you are unfamiliar with its operation.

Use of Hot Tub

Use of the Hot Tub is available on a first-come, first-served basis and solely at the users' risk.  Guests are ONLY permitted to change the jets and light settings via the buttons labelled "Jets" (Low, High, Off) and "Lights" (High, Medium, Low, Off).  When finished using the Hot Tub, please ensure jets and lights are off.

Please do not add any substance (soap, bubble bath, etc) to the hot tub water.

Food and beverages are not allowed in the Hot Tub.

For the comfort of all, Guests must remain clothed while using the Hot Tub.

Deposits, Payments & Refunds

A deposit equal to the first night's rate is required to secure all reservations.

100% refund of deposit, minus a $25 processing fee, if cancelled at least 30 days prior to your arrival date.

50% refund of deposit, minus a $25 processing fee, for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to your arrival.  We do, however, allow you to apply your full deposit to a rescheduled reservation or a gift certificate.

The Retreat accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and cash.

Occupancy

Occupancy is limited to registered guests only.  Inn Keepers are NOT responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises.  The Inn Keepers are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests.  Room key codes will be changed between each guest.

Rates

All rates are per night with a two-night minimum stay.

The Retreat Inn Keepers reserve the right to charge the credit card on record for any damages or missing items discovered after checkout.

Housekeeping

Daily housekeeping services consist of trash removal, upon request- clean towels and the bed straightened.  

Complementary turndown service is available upon request.

Notice to guests with allergies

In addition to the Inn Keepers, The Retreat is home to Samson (Colorado Mountain Dog), Aspen (Colorado Mountain Dog), Delilah (Colorado Mountain Dog), and Genesis (African Grey Parrot).
